Bruttini & Associati was founded in 2006 as a professional association by the engineers, Roberto Bruttini, who is also the firm’s managing director, and Vito Salvatore Piccigallo.
In April 2016, Alessio Righi and Elena Fatichenti then joined the firm.
Bruttini & Associati’s office is at Barberino Tavarnelle, which is located on the border of the Chianti region on the outskirts of Poggibonsi, the industrial hub of Val d′Elsa. The firm specialises in the field of residential, industrial and rural-accommodation buildings.

Graduated in Civil Engineering Design and Construction in 1986 at the University of Pisa.
A freelancer since 1986 mainly as a structural engineer, designer and construction manager.
Registered with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Siena since 1986.
Authorised Safety Coordinator for temporary and mobile construction sites (Legislative Decree 81/08 ex L.494/96) since June 1997.
Registered with the Italian Home Office (Ministry of the Interior) pursuant to Law 818/84 (fire certifications) since December 2005. Present in the Register of Technical Consultants of the Court of Siena and has carried out over 30 commissions as Court Support Technician (CTU) or Party-Appointed Technical Consultant (CTP) in the construction sector.

Bruttini & Associati’s main activities involve planning design, construction management and technical consultancy in the engineering field, particularly in the field of civil construction and related geotechnical works.
The main assignments over the years have concerned new constructions and renovations of residential buildings of up to 40,000 cubic metres in size, both single and multi-family houses, monumental buildings, and industrial and commercial buildings with a surface area up to 11,000 square metres. The Studio has also gained experience in maintenance work on masonry, steel, reinforced concrete, wood and glass buildings, as well as in geotechnical work for reinforcing and stabilising slopes, and sheet-piled walls. Static survey work has recently been undertaken for temporary installations of artworks.
Since 2011, Bruttini & Associati has obtained Quality Management System certification pursuant to UNI-EN-ISO 9001 for design, construction management and technical consultancy according to the IAF34 for engineering services
