He has been practicing as a freelance engineer since 1986, mainly as a structural engineer, designer and construction supervisor.

He has been a member of the Order of Engineers of the province of Siena since 1986.

He was authorized to carry out safety coordination tasks on temporary and mobile construction sites (DLgs 81/08 ex L.494/96) from 1997 to 2024.

From 2005 to 2024 he was part of the list of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs pursuant to L.818/84 (fire safety certifications).

He is registered in the Register of Technical Consultants of the Court of Siena and has held over thirty assignments as a technical consultant or expert witness in the construction sector.
